At Home in the Acetaia

At Home in the Acetaia

For the De Pietri family, the acetaia was never just where balsamic was made. It was where they grew up.

When Franco and Donatella chose to move closer to the acetaia, it wasn’t simply to be nearer the business, but to spend more time together as a family. Their children learned the craft by bottling balsamic in the kitchen at home, while Donatella introduced their vinegars to customers one shop at a time, carrying a tasting case Franco had fashioned from the box that once held their wedding letters.

Those early years shaped more than a business. They established a way of life that has been passed from father to son, generation after generation, preserving not only the family’s craft, but the values behind it.

A family before a company.
